We also apply an additional layer of encryption within our application itself, so sensitive data is stored encrypted in our database. When we use AI to enhance your experience, we partner with OpenAI using their zero-retention policy and opt out of training data collection. This means your family's memories remain private and are never used to train AI models.

Where is our data stored?
Your data is stored securely in the cloud using industry-leading providers (Amazon AWS, Supabase, and Langbase). We transmit it over secure HTTPS connections, then encrypt it at the application level before writing to our database, so it is stored only in encrypted form. This design helps protect your data from unauthorized access—even our own team cannot view it without proper authorization.
How do you protect our privacy?
We use strong encryption for all data. When you submit information, it's sent over a secure TLS connection and then encrypted by our application before being saved. This means your family's information is protected both at rest and while in transit. We also use nickname-based identification instead of real names for children, and you have complete control over what information you share.
Who owns our data?
You own your data, period. We're simply providing a secure platform to store and manage it. You can export or delete your data at any time.
How do you use AI with our data?
When we use AI to enhance your experience, we partner exclusively with OpenAI using their zero-retention policy. This means the data is processed in real-time and immediately discarded. We explicitly opt out of allowing your data to be used for AI model training.
Will you ever sell our data?
Absolutely not. We have a strict no-data-selling policy. Our business model is based on providing value to our users through our platform features, not through monetizing your data. Your family's information will never be sold or shared with third parties.
What happens if I delete my account?
When you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed from our servers. We don't keep backups or archives of deleted accounts. Before deletion, you'll have the opportunity to export all your data if you wish to keep a copy.
