How it started
As a father of two, I intimately understand the challenge every parent faces: capturing and making sense of our children's development journey. It began with a simple Notion page where I tracked moments with my first daughter—precious snippets of her growing personality, developmental milestones, and the daily joy she brought to our lives. What started as a personal solution to preserve memories evolved into a revelation: these documented moments weren't just memories; they were the building blocks of understanding her unique development path.
The inspiration for Sunflowy emerged from this realisation. While tracking my daughter's progress, I noticed patterns in her learning style, preferences, and development that would have been lost in the blur of daily parenting without this systematic recording. But I also recognised that most parents lack the tools to easily capture and leverage these insights, potentially missing crucial opportunities to support their children's growth.
